Adam “George” Fournier hails from Erie, Penn., and is a graduate of the Syracuse University theater program which he totally uses every day. He got his start in bartending at the ripe old age of 20 when his first bar manager incorrectly calculated his age on his resume.
Fournier moved to Los Angeles in 2009 with delusions of being a writer, but after brief stints as an NBC page and Hollywood assistant, he fell back in love with bartending . He soon found himself running the program at Steingarten LA and then took over the bar program at Areal Restaurant in Santa Monica, where over the past four
years he has turned the bar into a Westside whiskey destination, with more than 250 different bottlings on the menu. Fournier also finds time to bartend occasionally at The Chestnut Club, also in Santa Monica.
A lover of spirits, leather bound books, lively debate, and sharing all of these passions with anyone who is forced to spend any prolonged time interacting with him.
